Kianna Kalyta Tran
Artistic Director
Kianna has been involved in the dance community since the age of three. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to study a multitude of genres including Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theatre, Acro and so much more. Kianna has also had the opportunity to attend workshops and intensives in places such as New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Pittsburgh to take classes with professionals from all over the world. She has also completed multiple exams through Acrobatic Arts and R.A.D. Ballet with a level of distinction.
Kianna began to assist in classes at the studio back in 2014 and quickly fell in love with teaching. Dance has provided Kianna with the stability and confidence to express herself and feel at home, and now being a teacher, she aspires to do the same for others.
Alongside her dance repertoire, Kianna is a highly seasoned one on one assistant for children who have special needs. Through this, she has been able to marry together her love for movement and education by bringing her extensive dance background into her work.
Kianna was invited to develop and present a workshop on teaching basic movement for children safely at The King’s University. She has also had the opportunity to coordinate and implement curriculum as Short Term Program Director. Kianna has quickly found her passion in curating programs that are educational, age appropriate and inspirational for young dancers. She strives to promote safety and inclusivity in each of her classes and programs.
Kianna is a certified instructor in Acrobatic Arts, as well as Youth Protection Advocacy for Dancers. She is currently studying Early Childhood Curriculum Development.
